“Many of who may have seen me before – I am Pebbles and for over 2 years now I have been here at Benafim shelter. Before coming here I was in Portimao municipal Kennel….. and before that my life was not a good life. Being completely honest, I have reached the age of 6 and am tired of hearing about this place the humans here call ‘a loving home’…… does this place really exist?

I am a very very very good girl, I am playful, I love to play fetch and retrieve toys, I love to be stroked and cuddled and shown kindness and I love to go on really good walks. I am not sure if you have noticed but I also LOVE water.

I travel incredibly well in the car, I even enjoy going to the vets…. and will happily sit by your side quietly in a cafe.

My ideal home is one without other dogs. I can be walked with other dogs and as long as they leave me alone to enjoy my day and what I am up to, I will respect their space too.

I also would be suited to a home without cats.

I need to be in a home with a secure fenced garden or in a home where I am outdoors a lot being walked and played with, not left for hours alone in an apartment.

I never ever bark in my kennel, never ever make a fuss, I sit quietly and patiently waiting for my time out to exercise, to receive some attention but the waiting is long and I deserve more, much, much more.

I am healthy, chipped, vaccinated, sterilised and so would love to meet you.

Due to breed laws – staffie/pit bull I can only be rehomed in Portugal and there are legal requirements to my adoption.
