Hi everyone,  My name is Vale (I got this name as I was rescued on Valentine’s day a few years ago now).

I think I am a very good and handsome boy, I am shy so perhaps this is why I am not in a home yet. Little does everyone know that with a little time and us getting to know each other, I am a very easy boy with a cheeky sense of humour, an adorable soft snore when I am stroked, a sun lover, a dog treat lover, walk lover and a big, big, big love of soft blankets.

My best friend Killo with whom I have shared a kennel for many years finally got noticed and is going to his new home soon. I am so so so happy for him but am feeling a bit sad too…… I hope one day someone will fall in love with me too. I am very lucky the humans at the shelter look after me so well, but it is not the same as a home I am told.

I may not be a puppy, I may be shy, but I have the most soulful eyes and if you take a little time to get to know me, you will LOVE my company, love stroking me and feel so much happiness knowing we will be the best of friends.
I am okay with most dogs, I am quiet, I wouldn’t want excitable children jumping all over me and a home without cats would be preferable.

Perhaps this year will be my year, the year I finally found a home and the year finally someone noticed me.
