I am beautiful Mira, I am told that a lot, especially but the really kind Tigre who is my best friend at the shelter. He looks after me so so well and even brings me breakfast in bed some days.  I am a very sweet but wary girl.  Life can be so cruel and this has made me very very wary of humans.  That said since I have been here I am told I am gaining confidence every day.  I will rest in my dog bed and the lovely humans here stroke me under the watchful eye of Tigre.  He always makes sure I am safe, I trust him.  I really enjoy my walks and will let you put a lead on me.  I also love to run off lead and always come back to my kennel.  I don’t won’t to miss feeding times!  Oh have I mentioned that when I snuggle up and let the humans stroke me I also get given really nice treats.  What I dream of is a home with other dogs where I can settle at my own pace, not be rushed and have the freedom to explore a fenced garden with the company of friends and a nice meal or two a day to enjoy.  I am sure with time I will really start to enjoy cuddles, warmth and being inside a home.
