My name is Estrela, this means Star.  Up until a few weeks ago I was in a home with my two sons, then my Daddy passed away.  My whole world has been turned upside down as I had no where to go as there was no one to look after me.  Thank goodness Benafim Shelter stepped in to help me.

I am not used to being in a shelter but I know I am lucky.  Here I am looked after so well, I have a really big kennel with lots of comfortable blankets to snuggle up to at night and I have fantastic walks every day.

I am very coy and a little shy.  I have always let my two sons receive all the attention, I am selfless like that.  It makes me smile seeing them happy.  But now I think it is my time to shine just like my name.

I am told I have the most beautiful and sensitive eyes, very kind ones that ooze love and warmth.

I would love to be in a home of course, where I can relax, enjoy a nice walk and lots of cuddles and human company.  I am fine with other dogs so could be in a home with others or without.
